A fun pair of sports-weight socks I knitted for a friend I know online. He bought a scarf from me last winter and soon ordered a pair of socks to match.
Basic brown sports-weight socks made from 100% wool yarn, reinforced at the heel and toe.
What a beautiful fingering-feight ladies sock!  It's made out of 75% wool and 25% Polyamide, a perfect mixture for durable and breathable socks.
This is a reproduction of Roman toe-socks from 100% wool.  The shaft is knitted straight, so that it will roll.
My husband loves orange shirts. Everyone teases him about it, so I made him a pair of fingering-weight socks to match the shirts as a joke. He will not wear them to this day, though ;-)
This is a pair of reproducton WW2 german socks I make for re-enactors. The wool I use is a sport/DK weight and very warm and comfortable to wear in boots.
A reproduction of authentic ancient roman toe socks made from 100% partly washed sheep's yarn that still contains a lot of its lanolin.  Click here for a picture of these socks worn with reproduction roman sandals.
The technique used in this pair of heel- and toeless Roman reproduction socks is called "naalbinding", which is done with one bone needle.

Here is a gorgeous pair of babyboots out of 75% wool yarn.  They are incredibly soft and durable at the same time.  I have been told that these are the best fitting baby booties around.
